01 / OVERVIEW

Atelier is a frontend-only prototype for salon and spa discovery, framed around a London directory of chairs, treatment rooms and studios. The homepage presents a dark, editorial hero ("Look like you mean it") above a stat strip and a treatment/area/when search bar that begins the booking journey.

02 / CHALLENGE

Multi-step consumer booking flows — pick a service, then a location, then a time, then confirm — tend to feel transactional. The goal was to make that sequence feel considered and calm rather than form-driven.

03 / APPROACH

A persistent Customer view / Salon view toggle in the header frames the app from both sides of the marketplace, with Explore, My appointments and Notifications as core customer navigation. The homepage search bar (Treatment / Area / When) is the entry point into salon listings and, from there, into a staged booking interaction.

04 / KEY DETAILS

  • Customer view and Salon view toggle framing both sides of the booking marketplace
  • My appointments and Notifications sections for the customer-side journey
