Casa Solenne is a concept boutique-hotel site set on the fictional Amalfi Coast, leading with a full-screen destination photograph and a single, quiet proposition — "Some places ask you to stay" — before moving into rooms, dining and journal content.
Hospitality sites often front-load amenities and booking widgets before establishing any sense of place. The challenge was to let the destination carry the first impression, with availability checking present but secondary.
The homepage hero is a single large Amalfi coastline photograph with a circular "First Light" badge and a vertical "Fourteen rooms · One road · The sea" label running down the right edge. Navigation (The House, Rooms, At the Table, Explore, Journal) sits above a warm, editorial colour palette, with "Check availability" offered as a header action rather than a page-dominating widget.
- Full-bleed destination photography as the primary homepage element
- Room, dining (At the Table) and Journal sections alongside core booking info
- Understated "Check availability" action in the header rather than a dominant booking form
- Consistent warm, editorial art direction across navigation and typography
