01 / OVERVIEW

NorthPole is a concept corporate site for a fictional construction and engineering firm, opening on a blunt, oversized headline — "Built to Endure" — backed by a technical line-diagram rather than stock photography of hard hats and cranes.

02 / CHALLENGE

Construction and engineering firms default to generic stock-photo corporate sites. The brief was to express industrial confidence through typography and systematic layout instead, so the site itself demonstrates the same discipline the firm claims to build with.

03 / APPROACH

A black header with Work, Expertise, Approach and About sits above a stark, typography-forward hero ("01 / Construction & Engineering", location label, oversized headline) and a schematic line-diagram section. Two CTAs — "Discuss a project" and "Explore our work" — split enquiry and portfolio browsing cleanly.

04 / KEY DETAILS

  • Oversized, typography-led hero with a structured "01 / sector" labelling system
  • Schematic line-diagram in place of generic construction photography
  • Separate Work, Expertise, Approach and About sections in primary navigation
  • High-contrast black/orange industrial colour system carried through CTAs
